June 29, 2024He was amazing. The way he involved the students and taught them about the Native Hoop Dance & its History. Also tellingvthe kids how he was taught the Native American Hoop Dance by his uncle. The students were all captivated and truly enjoyed his visit. All you heard during the Hoop Dance were the kids excitement. This was by far the best Performer/ Guest Speaker my Summer Camp has had.

April 24, 2024Eric definitely brought an amazing experience to our film festival. His ability to connect with people, to tell stories and then topped off with his incredible talent elevated our event. The entire community and all of the filmmakers are still talking about him and his performance.

May 10, 2023I would recommend them to everyone and anyone. Our family was very happy with both Native American dancer, and singer. Our mother would’ve been very proud. She was very proud of her heritage, so yes, we were very happy and we would recommend them to anyone not a five star there a 10 star thank you, Belinda Amaro.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a kind and thoughtful review. We are honored to have been a part of your memorial service and to have helped celebrate your mother's heritage.
It warms our hearts to hear that you and your family were happy with both the Native American dancer and singer, and that your mother would have been proud.
Once again, thank you for choosing us to be a part of such a special occasion. We appreciate your support and hope to work with you and your family again in the future.

January 18, 2023I hired Eric for a Baby Shower for my unborn grandson Logan. He showed up in the pouring rain and never made a single excuse about performing. (We had huge tents). We were double blessed because he brought along another performer, native from Canada, (so sorry I cannot remember her name). She sang a beautiful song that really set the tone for an amazing performance. Family members sent me messages about how their kids went on & on about the experience they were a part of. He ended the show by doing a smudging to the family that is expecting!
Hire Eric, you won't regret it!

Audiences can expect to be amazed by the difficulty and athleticism of the Hoop Dance. The Audience will also feel the Spirit of the dance and the healing that it offers to anyone who watches. For longer performances, the Audience will get the chance to participate and learn more about the Hoop Dance.
Eric Hernandez, a proud member of the Lumbee tribe, is an esteemed Native American hoop dancer with over 20 years of experience. Mentored by Terry Goedel, Eric's skills took center stage as the lead in Cirque du Soleil's "Totem," touring over 17 countries. A recent TEDx speaker, his mission is to challenge stereotypes and spread ancestral wisdom about Native Americans through the art of hoop dance.
I can adapt to any size stage. I can provide my own sound system if needed. Natural Lighting or Studio Lighting is fine.
