Douglas most often performs as a solo act. If available, Native American dancers can be added to dance on uptempo songs for additional fees.

Douglas Blue Feather, American Indian, Iberian, and European ethnicity & adopted Yankton Dakota Sioux member, is an internationally known recording artist and performer of music featuring the Native American flute. Recognized as one of the most accomplished and prolific flutists of today, he has released 23 albums which have been heard on radio and TV music channels worldwide including Pandora, iTunes, Soundscape, Sirius, iHeart Radio, Spotify, (link hidden), and many others.

As a multi national award winner, the highlights of Douglas' career include winning fifteen national music awards, including the Native American Music Awards, the Indian Summer Music Awards, the Native American Style Flute Awards, the Global Music Awards, and the Visionary Music Awards. In total, Douglas has received over 60 various award nominations and has been a voting member of the Grammys in the Producers & Engineers Wing since 2007. In addition, Douglas Blue Feather is the only person to twice beat legendary grandfather of the Native American flute, Carlos Nakai, in the categories of "Best Native American Flute" in both the Native American Music Awards and the Indian Summer Music Awards.

As a world class musician, Douglas comes with a proven track record of being one of the most talented performers on the Native American flute in the world and has performed at the Native American Music Awards, on Fox and NBC TV,  and at numerous nationally advertised  powwows, festivals, expos, universities and churches throughout the United States.

Unless provided and agreed upon, Douglas most often supplies his own professional JBL sound system that can range from 2 speakers for small venues to 8 speakers for large venues. He uses his own stage rack that includes his own Sennheiser wireless mic for the flute, Mackie digital mixer, Lexicon digital effects, and Sennheiser in-ear monitors. For featured concerts, Douglas can provide his own LED stage lighting as well.
