Broadway-Ready Vocals

Kamaya is a highly talented and versatile singer with extreme vocal agility and power. She can effortlessly switch from falsetto to belting in an instant. Her songwriting and compositional abilities make her songs to stand out, often with potent messages about topics that inspire her audiences. Kamaya has an effervescent stage presence to command a crowd, which I had the pleasure of witnessing at her SUNY Purchase Graduate Program Recital in 2025. Kamaya is hardworking, honest musician who is dedicated to providing euphonic live musical experiences.

About

Hi, I'm Kamya (aka Mya the Moonbeam) a singer, songwriter and producer making music with influences from a little bit of R&B, a little bit of Synth-pop, and a little bit of 80's goth music. Specific artist wise think Penelope Scott meets Janelle Monae.
You may be asking yourself dear reader, "What does this have to do with my party?" "I wonder if her voice would be good for my session?" or perhaps "Where does this fit in to my venue crowd?" maybe even "Hmm, I wonder if that genre combination would make for a good beat for my music?" Well luckily I have answers to those questions! For your party, venue or session I have a wide selection of genre spanning music from my EP "Folktales for the Illusion of a New World" for you to choose for me to perform, and if none of them fit your particular vibe, I am a trained singer very amenable to cover requests and learning new music (when given advanced notice of course). If you're interested in having me produce a track for you, I have a degree in music technology, and familiarity producing all genres of music, so if you let me know what genre you'd like for your track to be in, I'd be more than happy to help!
Thank you so much for you interest, and I hope we get to work on something together :)
