Cassi Raye is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and performer with over 17 years of experience in the music industry. With a soulful, earthy voice and a gift for storytelling, she blends folk-inspired melodies with deep, heartfelt lyrics, drawing inspiration from the natural world and Appalachian culture.

Cassi has released two crowd-funded albums, Open and Wake, each a testament to her connection with her fans and her unwavering dedication to her craft. Over the years, she’s had the pleasure of performing at a wide variety of events, from festivals like Culturefest and Buddhafest, to venues such as bars, restaurants, weddings, and memorial and church services. Her ability to connect with audiences from all walks of life is a hallmark of her performances, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere wherever she goes.

Now based in Eastern North Carolina, Cassi is also working toward her degree in funeral program studies and has plans to pursue a Master’s in Psychology. As she looks toward 2025, she’s excited about a full year of performances and is currently working on a new professional album. Cassi’s journey continues to evolve, and she’s deeply grateful for the support and love she’s received along the way.
