Michele D'Amour and the Love Dealers

What to expect: A group of professionals who will set up as unobtrusively as possible and who are responsive to requests. We'll have a planned set list, but we can make changes and accommodate requests based on what the audience is responding to. We will do our darndest to either provide background - or to get people dancing and having fun - depending on what you request.

Michele D’Amour and the Love Dealers have been slinging their brand of fun, funky, sassy blues all along the west coast since 2011. The band draws its repertoire from a mix of well-written originals that sound classic, and carefully chosen covers on which the band puts its own spin. Fans appreciate the band's lyrical “soulful whimsy” and deep dedication to the groove.

Midwest Record called the band's music "Fun stuff that really delivers the goods.”

LA Music Critic said: "There is nothing like a good solid blues rhythm coupled with an amazing female voice that understands the true sound of the blues. Michele D’Amour and the Love Dealers…bring an authenticity to their sound not normally heard by today’s modern blues bands."

Michele D’Amour and the Love Dealers have been invited back to numerous festivals and venues due to their ability to put on a show that entices people get up to dance and often even take part as impromptu backup singers. The band has won a John Lennon Songwriting Grand Prize, two Global Music Awards, and has multiple nominations from Washington Blues Society, LA Music Critic, and the International Blues Broadcasters' Association. Their most recent album, Wiggle Room (released August 24, 2018) spent 13 weeks at #1 nationally, with all ten songs charting.
