What to expect
You can expect a professional, organized band focused on making your event feel good. We arrive early, set up our own full PA and lighting-friendly footprint, dress for the occasion, and read the room — turning up the energy for a dance floor or settling into a warm background set for dinner and conversation.
We offer two configurations: a trio (vocals, pedal steel, bass) ideal for wineries, intimate venues, and acoustic-friendly rooms, or the full five-piece band with drums and guitar for dance nights, festivals, weddings, and larger events.
From first message to final song, you'll get clear communication, a song list shaped to your crowd, and a band that treats your event like it matters — because it does.
About
Wildwood Angels is a Pacific Northwest country band rooted in the classic sounds of honky-tonk, Western swing, country soul, and roadhouse R&B. Led by vocalist Sheena Denney, the band draws from the deep well of American country music — Buck Owens, Patsy Cline, Merle Haggard, Emmylou Harris, Ray Charles — with arrangements that honor the originals while feeling alive in the room.
The band is Sheena Denney (vocals), Jason Kuykendall (pedal steel and dobro — Berklee-trained, 2025 Northwest Country Music Association finalist), Mason Hargrove (guitar), Patrick McDanel (bass), and Aaron Hennings (drums).
Wildwood Angels has released an album on Spotify and performed across Western Washington at venues including McMenamins Spanish Ballroom, Alderbrook Golf & Yacht Club, Marrowstone Vineyards, Finn River Farm, Port Townsend Winery, The Spar in Tacoma, Bainbridge Brewing, and festivals and community concerts throughout the region.
The set adapts to the room — energetic honky-tonk and country soul for dance nights, or warmer, more atmospheric sets for winery afternoons and private receptions. Warm, danceable, and built for a crowd that loves the tradition.
Additional booking notes
Full professional PA and all backline provided — the band is fully self-sufficient for most indoor and outdoor venues. We can scale sound from an intimate winery tasting room to an outdoor festival stage. Stage plot and input list available on request. For outdoor events we ask for covered shade or shelter for the instruments (pedal steel and vintage gear) and access to standard power within 50 feet of the stage area.
