You can expect energy (if the event entails) or you can expect smooth and calm. You can get party or you can get relaxed. You can get solo act or 4 members for larger events. The band comes with sound system, party lights, drums, guitar player, singer and a sequencer. We play anything from R&B, Soca, Reggae - Country. We (Mic Love & The Sunset Boyz) have been together for over 14 years.

My Name is Michael Lovelle Stephens BKA Mic Love. I was born in Jacksonville, Fl but raised on the beautiful island on (link hidden)omas USVI. Been there all my life. Came to (link hidden)omas when I was only 6months old. I actually started out playing the drums for a local popular cover band. Then one day the singer decided not to show up for a gig. Being to practice with the guys, they knew of my hidden talent. They asked me to come from behind the drums and take lead. That would be the very first time I sung in front of a huge crowd and actually rocked it. Every since then, iv been known as the guy with the golden voice. Being a native of the USVI I began singing at a young age. Performing and opening up for groups like Dru Hill, Jodeci, New Editon, Boyz II Men, Tarrus Riley, and MANY more to mention. The genre's I perform best are R&B, Country, Pop, Reggae, Soca, Calypso, Funk, Folk and Classics. I perform for all the Marriott's, Wyndhams, and major hotels on the island. I held all the contracts for all or most of the hotels on island. On September 6, 2017, there were 2 category 5 hurricanes that destroyed the whole island. All the hotels were destroy except for 1. So me family and I decided to relocate because our house too got damaged by the hurricanes. I have a sound system as well as party lights and my band is also in Orlando with me. Smaller events if required, We have our own sound system. However if the venue provides the sound, all we would require is 2 monitors and a cordless mic for the singer, 1 monitor and a guitar rig for the guitarist, and 1 monitor and 1 bottom for the drummer. It also depends on the venue as well. TBA upon booking.
