What to expect
We arrive 1-2 hours before the event starts to set up. We bring everything we need- you provide the space and connection to power. We have "Song Menus" that provide a list of songs the audience can make requests from, and also invites them to join in the fun. We are happy to make any announcements as needed, and if it's a wedding, provide a microphone for speeches and bride/groom games.
About
Melts In Your Mouth Band is the musical duo of Justin and Mickey Maupin, performing together since 2012 and officially playing as Melts In Your Mouth Band since 2017. They primarily perform as a duo for festivals, weddings, private parties, bars, and restaurants, adjusting the energy and volume to create exactly the right atmosphere for each event.
Mickey is a lifelong singer who has performed onstage with full bands since 2010, while Justin grew up playing guitar. Together, they write feel-good original music with blues, folk, and indie influences, with more than 70 original songs in their catalog.
Their live shows also feature an eclectic mix of popular covers spanning the 1960s to today. Known for being versatile, approachable, and fun, they love connecting with audiences and are always happy to take requests.
