After opening with a brief introduction, I present my topics with down-home simplicity interspersed with bits of humor and wit. Speaking with honesty and openness I try to help my audiences feel comfortable and relaxed by not standing behind a podium but instead sitting on the steps or edge of the stage. I use common images from everyday life to underscore lessons about heaven, faith, and life in general. Several of the topics also have accompanying video clips from popular movies that are used to reinforce important points from the lessons. My presentations are custom-fit for each audience, whether it be a Christian women's gathering or an auditorium full of high school students.

Having lived and taught in several states including many happy years in Virginia, Florida, Arkansas, and Colorado, Marie settled down back in her home state of Kansas. After a total of 17 years of teaching primarily in public schools she then drew from her prior combined experiences as a military wife, small business owner, and even postal worker and followed her passion for writing and encouraging others, and thus began writing full-time, working on guided journals inspired by God's creations as well as informational books. Her most recent publication is the book "Heaven: Pushing Up Daisies Ain't So Scary", a book meant to alleviate the fear of death and comfort those who recently lost a loved one. She is also currently working on a manuscript that examines some of the similarities and differences between several of the major world religions with the goal of pointing others towards God's Simple Truths. Her other current passions are studying God's Word regarding Discipleship and striving for Perfection. When she is not studying or sharing her excitement about heaven with others she balances her time with her family, friends, and her local church.
