After opening with a brief introduction, I present my topics with down-home simplicity interspersed with bits of humor and wit. Speaking with honesty and openness I try to help my audiences feel comfortable and relaxed by not standing behind a podium but instead sitting on the steps or edge of the stage. I use common images from everyday life to underscore lessons about heaven, faith, and life in general. Several of the topics also have accompanying video clips from popular movies that are used to reinforce important points from the lessons. My presentations are custom-fit for each audience, whether it be a Christian women's gathering or an auditorium full of high school students.

Having lived and taught in several states Marie settled down in the place she had originally dreamed of when she was younger...Colorado. After a total of 17 years of teaching and meeting many wonderful people across the United States she drew from her experiences, followed her passion for writing and encouraging others, and began writing full-time. She now lives near Colorado Springs where she writes guided journals inspired by God's creations as well as informational books. Her most recent publication is the book "Heaven: Pushing Up Daisies Ain't So Scary", a book meant to alleviate the fear of death and comfort those who recently lost a loved one. She is also currently working on a book that examines some of the similarities and differences between of the major world religions. When she is not writing or sharing her excitement about heaven with others she enjoys gardening and exploring the nearby mountains with her teenage son.
