Samantha Schultz and Trey Macias make up a dynamic music duo unlike you have ever heard! Sam’s captivating, soulful voice and experienced guitar playing combine with the richness and complexities of Trey’s percussion to deliver a unique sound and style from these two talented individuals. The pair met in 2009 at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and quickly became music partners. The duo has lived and worked in Los Angeles since 2013 with accolades spanning feature films, TV shows, original music releases, and supporting music icons on stage. With a characteristic blend of acoustic soul, pop, and classic hits, Sam & Trey are sure to bring you a warm energy and refined musical quality!

Sam & Trey rock! Was looking for a duo with a chill/acoustic vibe and they did not disappoint. So talented & so much fun - thank you guys! Highly recommend. Would definitely work with them again! :)

What to expect
Samantha and Trey are known to pack as full of a sound with as little a footprint as possible! Sam's soulful vocals and acoustic guitar playing are stars of any show in their own right, but combined with Trey's percussion, the duo together deliver a vibrant blend of colors and textures. In addition to providing background vocals, Trey plays a hybrid percussion kit of cajon and djembe with drum cymbals and even bells and shakers strapped to his legs. This leads to a fuller sound than one might normally expect from two people.
Sam and Trey have been working musicians since they were both preteens and bring years of experience, professionalism, punctuality, and high quality product to the table. You will not be disappointed by working with us! Thank you very much!

The pair met in 2009 while attending Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and quickly became music partners. As they developed their musical chemistry, their personal connection also grew and the two became married in 2019.
The duo has lived and worked together in Los Angeles since 2013 with accolades spanning feature films, TV shows, original music releases, and supporting beloved music icons on stage.
