No detail was too big or too small for this amazing and talented lady. Her smile and personal touch made our wedding so very special.
Cherokee was on top of everything and was beyond professional. No task or issue was too big or too small for her to take care of. Our guests loved her and so did our other services such as our caterer, florist, photographers, etc. I highly recommend her without hesitation.

Our server, Keasha, took charge in a very graceful manner. I felt confident straight away with my decision to book the Lovelei Duo. My event met all my expectation from the professional help from Keasha.
I hired Lovelei Duo for 2 waitstaff for my daughter’s 1st birthday for catering. Despite the company’s bad reviews I decided to take a chance and book them. I have been organizing and planning this event but 4 hours before the party starts she messaged me that her staff went into labor and can’t accommodate me. I was stressed but still kept calm and asked her why I wasn’t informed that her staff is pregnant? because this job requires standing for long hours lifting stuff etc. I should be informed to accommodate her well in her job, plan for seating breaks and also plan ahead if emergencies like this happens. She then proceeded to tell me that it is none of my business and asking about it is privacy violation. She even told me that all her staff are booked as of the moment and replacement is not guaranteed. If she really cared why can’t she work or replace the staff? It is her company’s name and reputation. I put my full trust in her that any last minute emergency she can solve but no, her solution is a refund. I was very stressed, depressed and hopeless so I asked her if she can refund me + inconvenience fee if she cant replace because I need staff last minute and I know it’s gonna be doubled rate. She then told me without compassion that I am very entitled, rude, and disrespectful to even ask for a little inconvenience fee. It is very low of her to call her client names. I cancelled my hair and make up artists to find a replacement but in the end I didn’t find any. Everyone is quoting me doubled/ tripled amount that I have no budget for. Everything is delayed since no staff can help us with the catering, I am also 7 months pregnant so I can’t help that much. I was crying the whole party because it was a disaster, no one is serving our guests and carving the prime rib roast, so our guests are doing it themselves.
I am at high risk multiple pregnancy and got scared that I will go into labor that day because of how she talked to me and how she handled the situation I am traumatized by the stress and anxiety she gave me
This company is not solution minded, in business, emergency happens but what really defines you as an owner is how you problem solve, how you deal with the situation, and how you respond and accommodate your clients. She doesn’t have accountability and doesn’t accept criticisms. The least she can do is have compassion and empathy for her client that put full trusts in her company but no in my experience she is defensive, combative, unprofessional and very disrespectful.
The owners communication was superb. The servers on site were professional and did a good job serving the people quickly.

We had a great time. Chef Lovelei brought her best seller caramel pecan banana pudding! I swear it’s almost as good as my grandma's! And you don’t miss the dairy!!!! Needless to say I will be booking her again!
Very disappointing and upsetting experience! My usual vendors for candy and dessert bars were not available for this particular event, which I need to mention was a BABY SHOWER with an elephant theme (keep reading to find out why this is relevant) so I sought out one on gigsalad which I use for back ups. This is what was told to me:
"We can do an assortment of sweet treats to color coordinators with your theme RED/ WHITE/GRAY
Chocolate covered strawberries, decorative Oreos, cake Pops , an array of sweet treats , brownies, and
candies for 35 guests, Including a Photo back drop. Includes drop off and set up. / table decor and pay.
Please let me know if you like any of the back drops below in the photos"
Sounded like they knew what they were doing so I booked it. What a mistake.
Needless to say what was provided was NOT even close to what was promised! It looked like the vendor went and picked up some items from a grocery store! There were no candy bar platters or containers, no backdrop. The vendor brought Christmas wrapping paper to use as a backdrop not the photo backdrop she originally sent me. And then when I asked about it she said it was out of stock. Uhmmm....probably should have told me that prior to the event right or bring something comparable right? Not show up with wrapping paper.
Especially since I paid $400! No table decor provided unless you want to count the 6 Christmas lollipops and candy cane. Keep in mind this was a baby shower not a Christmas event!
Time was 12:35pm for a baby shower that started at 1:00pm and set up still was not done. I interrupted this vendor's lack of progress and honestly lack of supplies at that time and begged the hotel staff to grab as many platters, risers, napkins and tablecloths that they could find so I could make something presentable for the event on time before guests arrived. Thankfully I paid and bought cupcakes that I was able to use to help make the dessert bar look like something!
Clearly this vendor took a job she could not handle and obviously had never done candy/dessert bars before. At least ones that had a professional look. She made excuses that didn't make sense and were opposite of what was agreed to like " decorations were not included in the quote" and "usually containers and platters are provided by the venue". WHAAT??? Every candy bar vendor I have hired over the many years of doing events brings the decor and everything necessary to build the bar! She was putting items on a napkin!!! OMG.
I respect people who try to do something for the 1st time but she should have looked at pictures online or something. Seriously! Luckily I have watched my usual vendors so many times that I, with the help of the hotel staff was able to put something presentable together at the last minute. Definitely not what my client paid for but we made it look decent. Turned out to be a waste of money and waste of time using this vendor for a candy and dessert bar that I probably could have done myself. Can't speak for anything else she claims to be able to do but I do not recommend hiring this vendor for candy/dessert bars! I strongly believe she should be offering a partial refund but given this experience and the fact she has not taken responsibility for this misstep, I am sure this won't happen.

This was a drop off event , not full service . platters and etc were not payed for or quoted in the price. Upon arrival the walls of this hotel would not hold anything at all, not tape not hanging rods etc .i was not informed of this before hand at all not that I had to be forced to try and cover a hideous hotel painting .
Honestly the event planner herself overextended herself upon arrival there was so proper table for me to set up on, table cloth etc she was still setting up herself and wasn’t even finished so to say I delayed the event was not true at all . She tried to do everything herself and by the time I got there she was frantic and not in the best mood or very professional or approachable. When she gets frustrated she ignores you. Then asks for help from the hotel staff.
It’s a business put your personal feelings aside and let’s try our best to make the client happy.

I specifically asked if they wanted the hand made decorative items and she said No that she just wanted strawberries and Oreos everything else was up in the air.
I asked several times how I could fix what was not made clear to begin with and she was rude , dismissive and proceeded to snatch items out of my hand , and rudely and forcebly moved me out of her way in several occasions…
I understand stress of making an event go on without a hitch. But several of these things could have been handled I n a better way by taking some accountability and not totally trying to slander my name.

4 Waitstaff was provided by the Company. Staff was good and experienced and did very proper Job. The only thing to improvise is uniform. If they had proper uniform our event would look great. Anyway it’s not staff issue it’s the Company issue. In short overall experience is satisfying.

Lovelei duo are so professional and they know their work omg the ladies came to my home and surprised me with a romantic picnic in my backyard let me tell you from the lights the flowers the candles the the fancy china it’s was beautiful please don’t forget about the food those vegan dishes was delicious… my mouth is still watering for those vegan tacos.. I wait to book with them again
Best bartender in Hollywood. She was very friendly to my guest. Each drink was made with a smile. She even assisted with cutting and serving the cake. This is about the 3rd time I used her. And it will not be the last time

I got a chance to try the banana pudding couldn’t even tell it was vegan. Very tasty, had to go back for seconds.
I tried a sample of just egg at the Huntington Beach Surf US Open. While the team members working the booth were friendly, inviting and knowledgeable, the garlic dressing is what set the sample off!! It had a light/fluffy aioli texture with garlic notes but wasn’t spicy. You could tell there was fresh garlic whipped in that sauce and it was the perfect pairing for savory breakfast items (or any time of day I’m sure). If I could buy both products at the store and have it just like that at home 100% I would. Thank you!!
