Leadership Strategist

I offer presentations where the audience will be given three learning objectives and they will be able to use this information immediately.

Michael Laidler is a Leadership Strategist, Keynote Speaker, and Law Enforcement Trainer, whose unwavering commitment to excellence, passion, and loyalty has quickly earned him the reputation as an up-and-coming industry leader. Over the course of a decade, he has garnered extensive leadership experience, primarily in the law enforcement sector.

Michael started his career in law enforcement at the age of 19 years old and has worked in this industry for over 16 years. He has worked as a police officer, border patrol agent, and for the federal prison system. In those organizations, he has served as a field training officer, K-9 handler, criminal investigator, lieutenant, and employee development manager.

Michael holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Morehead State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Spanish from Florida State University. He has developed e-courses, called The 3 Cs for Emerging Leaders, Premier Communications Formula, and The Legacy Mastermind.

Michael has proudly served as Area Director, President, Vice President of Education, and Treasurer for the Toastmasters Organization. He has received multiple awards, including Distinguished Toastmaster, First Place in the Toastmasters International Speech, and the Evaluation Contests at the Division Level.

Michael has utilized his education and experience to deliver keynote presentations, facilitate numerous mastermind groups, provide one-on-one leadership coaching, and host leadership workshops to thousands of law enforcement officers. He is driven on developing self-awareness and leadership skills in law enforcement officers. Ultimately, he is on a mission to impart the necessary personal development skills for law enforcement officers to operate at full capacity in any situation.

• Hands free microphone (lapel or country-man mic).
• Sound System has been tested for proper operation.

STAGE / LIGHTS
• Michael prefers a well-lit stage / area that is open and empty. He does not need a podium.
• Please leave the house lights on enough so that Michael can see the audience from stage.

SEATING ARRANGEMENT
• Please sit audience directly in front of Michael in a theater style setting. No seating behind or to the side of Michael while he speaks.
• The audience should be seated as close to the stage as possible.

RESOURCE TABLE
• There should be a 15-minute break immediately after Michael’s presentation in which he can interact with audience members, sign autographs, take photos, etc.

OTHER NOTES
• Two bottles of water would be greatly appreciated. Room temperature is preferable.
