About
Edmond Baker, Jr. aka "Uptown Saxman"
started playing the saxophone in the 6th grade, & playing in the Jr. High band his 7th-8th grade years, was the only formal training he received.
He believes we all have God-given gifts, and playing the saxophone is his.
In January 2002, after playing for 20 years, he took a leap of faith and pursued his passion as a full-time career, and he has been performing professionally for upscale Corporate and Private events all over the United States ever since.
He has gained a reputation of being the one to call to add that "extra touch” of class to any event.
Since 2009, Edmond has been Five-Star-rated and the Top Saxophonist.
He headlines events for Fortune 500 Companies, Mega Churches, National Non-Profit Organizations, Local, State, & Federal Government Officials, Professional Athletes, etc.
