About
I am a cellist and music educator based in New Windsor and New York City. I hold a Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School, where I studied with leading performers and educators. Over the years, I have performed at weddings, receptions, corporate events, and concerts across the city, collaborating with colleagues from top conservatories.
Alongside performing, I am passionate about teaching. I work with students of all ages, guiding them in building strong technique while developing their musical expression. In addition to cello, I also teach beginner to intermediate piano.
Whether on stage or in the teaching studio, I value professionalism, creativity, and creating meaningful musical experiences for audiences and students alike!
Additional booking notes
My setup is simple and flexible. For most events, I only require a chair without arms and adequate lighting to see the music.
For outdoor events, I kindly ask for a shaded area or cover to protect the cello from direct sun and weather. This helps keep the instrument safe and ensures the best sound quality.
For indoor performances in small to medium venues, no sound equipment is usually necessary. For larger or outdoor venues, I have amplification and pickup mic, and I am glad to coordinate with the event team or sound technician!
If additional musicians are requested (duo, trio, quartet), please provide chairs and music stands for each player, along with enough space to set up comfortably.
I always arrive early to make sure everything is in place and to work with the event staff as needed.

When performing with a duo, trio, or quartet, I can expand the set list to include a wide range of string ensemble repertoire, from classical quartets to popular covers.
Each program can be customized to match the atmosphere of your event, whether you prefer timeless elegance, romantic melodies, or modern hits with a classical twist.
Influences and inspiration
I am deeply inspired by both classical and contemporary musicians. In the classical tradition, the artistry of cellists like Yo-Yo Ma, Jacqueline du Pré, and Steven Isserlis has shaped my approach to sound and expression. I also draw inspiration from chamber musicians and ensembles such as the Juilliard String Quartet, whose commitment to collaboration and interpretation continues to influence my work.
Beyond classical music, I enjoy exploring crossover and contemporary styles, inspired by artists like 2Cellos and innovative string arrangers who bring new life to familiar songs. These influences allow me to bring versatility to my performances, from timeless classical repertoire to engaging modern arrangements.
