Jazz Avenue is a South Jersey jazz ensemble. We play a selection of songs from The Real Book, and other miscellaneous jazz pieces. We play for any event; big or small. We are willing to travel to venues not in our area. Our pricing is based on event location, type, and duration. We are trying to get our feet wet in the gigging world, and do what we all love which is play music for others.

Jazz Avenue consists of 6 members: a Trumpet player, aDummer, a Saxophone/Guitarist, a Clarinet/Guitarist, a Pianist/Bass-Guitarist, and a Lead guitarist. We can accompany a wide range of events, from weddings to coffee house events; we've got you covered. If you hired us to play you should expect a welcoming variety of pieces to accompany your event admirably. People listening should feel engaged in the music and enjoy the relaxing jazz melody.
Most of us started playing instruments in the 5th grade. Our love and devotion to music is what brought us here, and shaped us into what we are today. We can all attest to the fact that none of us would be the same today without the influence music has had on our lives.
We provide all our own sound equipment, and instruments. If you have a piano it could be used, but we do have a keyboard. We only require some chairs and enough space to fit our equipment. Any event over an hour and a half of straight playing will require a 15 minute break. We will play events longer then three hours; every hour will require a 10 minute break. Our pricing does depend location, event type, and duration. We charge a non-refundable fee of $150 to book the event, and another $100.00 per hour for the event. (Hourly rate will be adjusted based on event.)
