Excellent band for hire for corporate events

We hired Sean Lynch Jazz Trio for a corporate event we were having in a rented space. Sean Lynch's band was nothing but professional upon hire and throughout the event. They set up quickly in the space provided and were a lovely backdrop of sound for our Party. Many of the guests complimented on the the music , calling it class and well stated for the event. I organize several of these types of events a year and am happy to have Sean Lynch's band on my roster of entertainment.

What to expect

An audience seeing our ensemble will experience a full, dynamic jazz performance spanning the Great American Songbook, classic jazz standards, high-energy swing, intimate ballads, foxtrots, and Latin grooves. Clients can expect a professional, adaptable ensemble that provides all of our own instruments and amplification, including bass amp, digital 88-key piano with stand, acoustic drum set, and a small PA for piano and optional vocals.

Our setup is designed to be flexible for small clubs, private events, or outdoor spaces, and we require only one standard 120V outlet within 2 feet of the performance area. No special staging or lighting is needed beyond standard venue lighting sufficient to see music.

In a jazz context, our drums are played acoustically and dynamically, prioritizing swing and musical interplay. This means the drums are often softer than the vocals or piano, so venues and clients don’t need to worry about them being too loud. Overall, audiences and clients receive a balanced, polished, engaging musical experience rooted in the jazz tradition, performed with professionalism, flexibility, and care.

About

I’ve been performing in jazz events for over 15 years and have been playing for 20. Our ensemble has performed at weddings, corporate holiday parties, real estate events, private celebrations, Fourth of July parties, charity galas, art openings, and upscale restaurant or hotel events.

We believe in the power of music to bring people together and create memorable experiences. Our performances are professional and polished, adaptable to the needs of any event—we can provide elegant background music, lively high-energy tunes, romantic ballads, or celebratory dance music. All of our musicians are full-time professionals with years of experience, dedicated to providing the best entertainment possible.

Additional booking notes

Our ensemble provides all of our own instruments and amplification, including bass amp, digital 88-key piano with stand, acoustic drum set, small PA for piano, and optional vocal microphone(s). We require one standard 120V electrical outlet within approximately 2 feet of the performance area.

No special lighting is required beyond standard venue lighting, though adequate visibility for reading music is helpful. No staging beyond a reasonably flat performance area is needed; we perform on floors, small stages, or bandstands. Sound requirements are minimal, as our drums are un-miked and we provide our own PA for the piano and vocals.

We can adapt to small clubs, private events, or outdoor spaces and are comfortable adjusting our volume to suit the venue.
