Very funny guy who kept the crowd laughing and entertained as host comedian. He kept the show moving and had high energy in the room the entire night. I never laugh so hard from his act as well as the other comedians on the show. I am a new fan of Jay Derrell. I will be coming back to another show of his!

Jay Derrell is one of the funniest comedians I have seen in a while. I enjoyed his show. He really interacted with the audience and kept everyone laughing. My girlfriend and I had an awesome ladies night out at Jay Derrell's comedy show. Jay was so nice he met,greeted, and took pictures with many of the audience after the show. I look forward to seeing this super funny comidean on stage again!

Jay Derrell stepped on stage 16 years ago after being told over the years that he was a real funny dude who could make anyone laugh. Derrell tells funny stories and his take on things he dealt with in life. Jay is very funny and cleave, you can't get enough of this funny over the top cop comic..Jay Derrell has opened for R &B Singer Eric Benet, Funk Master George Clinton & Parliment Funkadelic. Opened for National Headlining Comedians , Darryl 'DMillitant" Littleton. Donnell Rawlings, Reginald Ballard(Bruh Man From Hit tv show Martin), Comedienne Sommore, Lunell and Heather Land. Has opened for the The King of Comedy DL Hughely and Arnez J. .Comedian Jay Derrell honed his comedic talents while growing up in Clayton, North Carolina. As a child he often entertained his family and friends with his quick wit and storytelling ability.
Jay is an honorably discharged 10 year veteran of the US Army. During his tour of duty, he enjoyed traveling around the country and performing his routine to fellow soldiers. Currently Jay Derrell works as a full time Comedian and he is owner/founder of Daisy Pearl Productions LLC.
It all started with a conversation with Comedian Don “DC” Curry encouraged Jay Derrell to seriously pursue a career as a standup comedian and actor. Jay Derrell has become a comedic fixture along the Raleigh Durham comedy circuit. He often performs at Laugh out Loud Comedy Club/Comedy Zone in Clayton North Carolina, Goodnights Comedy Club in Raleigh North Carolina and Dirty South Improv Comedy Club in Chapel Hill North Carolina and Nutt Street Comedy Club Wilmington North Carolina. The Comedy Zone in Charlotte NC, Time Out Bar N Grill Durham NC, Cozzy's Comedy Club Newport News VA. Jay Derrell also performed at The World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas NV. Additionally, he frequently performs at family reunions, social events and specialty shows.
