Jake Lung is a multi-instrumentalist & vocalist from the small town of Marked Tree, AR, roughly 40 minutes northwest of Memphis, TN. Jake is currently booking solo acoustic performances. He has played with musicians associated with artists including BB King, Rufus Thomas, Hank Williams Jr, Ronnie Milsap, The Kentucky Headhunters, .38 Special, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Cars, The Allman Brothers Band, and more. He has performed in world renowned venues such as Legends Corner in Nashville, TN, Nash Vegas in Columbia, MO, Beale Street in Memphis, TN, and others. His blues band, the Jake Lung Band, have played at the world famous King Biscuit Blues Festival three consecutive years, Full Throttle Saloons, festivals casino resorts, and clubs all over the Midsouth. His genres include rock, country, funk, soul, and blues.

Jake's style is a unique blend of ground-shaking southern rock n' roll with a subtle hint of delta blues and Memphis soul. The obvious influence of country music is there as well. Being raised in the Arkansas River Delta, Jake was surrounded by the sounds of all of these genres throughout his earlier years. But Jake's taste in music doesn't have borders in the Midsouth.

The sounds of Little Feat, The Allman Brothers, The Black Crowes, Tower Of Power, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Bob Seger among others round out the foundation of Jake's sound that is grounded by Levon Helm, Johnny Cash, Albert King, and other Delta legends.

I provide my own sound system and lightning. I can adapt to any situation large or small. All I require to perform is availability to an electrical outlet.
