Jack performs fingerstyle guitar, sings, and plays harmonica. Fingerstyle is a highly technical and percussive style of guitar playing. His repertoire includes original compositions and covers of Irish, rock, pop, and jazz tunes, as well as renditions of songs written by fingerstyle masters Tommy Emmanuel, Andy Mckee, Don Ross, and Stephen Bennett. Jack loves to share this style of playing with his listeners and other musicians.

April 28, 2024We booked Jack for our wedding of about 35 people at a vineyard. We could have not made a better choice! He was absolutely amazing, his guitar skills, his singing, his professionalism, and just hearing him play was honestly beautiful. Jack communicated with us from the beginning to the end and it was very much appreciated since planning a wedding can be stressful. Guarantee you he will help take the stress away from at least one aspect of your event. He was also very understanding and helpful when it came to timing and arriving early to set up. Our family loved him so much they wanted him to stay longer than originally planned and we are so thankful for him! He definitely helped that day feeling a little more magical! October 5, 2023We hosted a house party for 100 this past weekend. Of course, it rained and everyone had to move inside- including Jack. He was super flexible. When the rain stopped, Jack started to play- he was an absolute hit with our guests- not exaggerating, 50 people came to me and commented that he was fantastic. We will definitely have him back.

He had our guests singing, vibing and clapping the entire time. His voice, his acoustics and instrumentals were just WOW, I have no other words!! I play a wide variety of genres of music: pop, country, soul, and blues. I can play instrumentally with no singing for pleasant and lively background music, and also take requests to sing your favorite songs.
I love playing and teaching guitar. I've spent countless hours practicing to reach a greater ability, knowledge, and connection to the music that I love. I've been playing now for over 20 years.
My musical journey started in middle school when I got my first guitar. I played in worship, rock, and pop bands during high school and college. I earned two bachelor's degrees in philosophy and psychology from New Mexico State University, and a master's degree in philosophy from Brandeis University. While getting my degrees I completed coursework at Berklee College of Music, which helped me solidify my understanding of music theory. After graduation I became a full-time guitar instructor and performer, teaching students of all ages in my hometown of Las Cruces, New Mexico, and playing gigs there and in Albuquerque, NM and El Paso, Texas.
