I hired Daygoro for a community event in the school district I work at, and was completely taken by surprise by how much a one-man act like him can do. He sings many songs in English and spanish, and plays guitar flawlessly. He was supposed to be background music while our staff ate, but it turned into a fun, engaging performance. This guys is loads of fun, totally recommend!

I hired El Charro to serenade my mom on her birthday. The whole experience was great. El Charro is very friendly and professional, and communicates well. He called me on the phone to get a clear picture of what I wanted for the event. He provided a very long list from which to choose the songs I wanted and confirmed once I made my selections. He contacted me the night before to let me know everything was set, and again the morning of when he arrived at my parents’ house about 10 min early to set everything up for the surprise. After everything was finished he let me know he was done. Later in the day he sent me videos of the event, which I really appreciated as I was unable to be there. It was a wonderful performance and my mother loved it!

My name is Daygoro Resendiz, also known as El Charro de New York. With over 14 years of national experience in mariachi and ensemble performance, I specialize in creating musical moments that resonate deeply with any audience—whether it’s a luxury wedding, high-end corporate event, or intimate celebration.
For serenades, I often begin the first song acoustically—just voice and guitar—to create an intimate, heartfelt moment. After that, I seamlessly transition into a full, wireless setup for a richer sound… unless you prefer to keep it fully acoustic. The choice is yours.
I only require performance space—nothing else.
Thanks to fully battery-powered equipment, I can perform virtually anywhere—rooftops, gardens, balconies, boats—you name it. As long as there’s room to stand, the music will flow.
I also offer a larger sound set up for 100+ guests for a fee.

Absolutely nothing is needed for small venues! Not even an outlet. All that is needed, is a proper space of about 5 ft by 5 ft minimum for performer/s and equipment. The necessary equipment will be provided for larger events if solicited 😉
