"I just had the best birthday ever, thanks to the polished performance of Ms. Sylvie Boisel and her accompanist. The rhythm, the music, the repertoire...every possible nuance of entertainment was simply smashing. We began with cocktails and songs by Sarah Vaughn, Louis Armstrong, and lively Django Reinhardt. Dinner music featured romantic French ballads, songs of love. Here is where Ms. Boisel really shines. Her interpretation of Edith Piaf in particular is outstanding. Mr. Sam Ben-Meir is a professional guitarist with real spirit, and our guests remarked again and again how much they enjoyed one song after another. When our dinner was finished, we danced to the smooth music of Ella Fitzgerald, Michael Buble, and memorable standards which were uplifted and made anything but ordinary by the intimacy of a live band. Our appreciation, Ms. Boisel. We look forward to seeing you again.' -- Tambra Laurenta
