HillBilly Fever

We play a variety of music that is great for your Bluegrass festival , private party or a cooperative event.

Led by Mark Krider, HillBilly Fever is built around a lifelong connection to bluegrass. Mark grew up in the mountains of North Carolina listening to and playing the music that would eventually become the foundation of his career. With more than 50 years of experience playing banjo and guitar, Mark has formed and performed with bluegrass groups in North Carolina, Tennessee, Arizona, and now calls Texas home.

HillBilly Fever’s sound stays firmly rooted in traditional bluegrass, while the band’s repertoire also includes classic old-country favorites. Their goal is simple: play good songs, play them with feeling, and give every audience an exciting and memorable show.

The band’s musicians bring years of experience performing at festivals, historic venues, and stages throughout the country. Adam Bachman, originally from Tigerville, South Carolina and now based in Asheville, North Carolina, brings more than a decade of experience to the group, including performances at historic venues such as the Ryman Auditorium. His hard-driving dobro adds another distinctive voice to the HillBilly Fever sound.

The band has performed throughout much of the Western United States, including festivals and venues in states such as Wyoming, California, Arizona, Colorado, and beyond. HillBilly Fever has also had the opportunity to share its music with audiences at established bluegrass festivals and regional events.

In addition to performing traditional material, HillBilly Fever continues to record and release new music. The band has released original recordings and continues to develop new material while preserving the traditional sound that defines the group. Their recordings reflect the same approach they bring to the stage — strong picking, heartfelt vocals, tight harmonies, and a genuine respect for the roots of bluegrass.

HillBilly Fever also enjoys paying tribute to the legends who helped shape bluegrass and country music. Their live performances can include a special tribute set celebrating the great musicians and songs that inspired generations of players.

From a small acoustic venue to a large outdoor bluegrass festival, HillBilly Fever brings traditional bluegrass with energy, musicianship, and heart. They are committed to honoring the traditions of the music while continuing to move it forward for today’s audiences.
