That’s “gray” with an “a”. As a matter of jazz, GMoJ is a quartet with a deep song list of retro, redux, and “hey, I like that song. I haven’t heard it in years!" We have tunes to entertain your club, party, get-together or any special event. We are playing songs that risk being lost to time -- particularly Spyro Gyra, Steely Dan, Earth Wind and Fire, and more -- all with our own jazzy twist!

January 15, 2025I had the pleasure of seeing this group perform, and they were absolutely phenomenal. Their chemistry on stage was electric, with each member effortlessly weaving intricate solos and harmonies that kept the energy high throughout the entire performance. It was clear that they were not only incredibly skilled but also genuinely passionate about their craft. I left feeling inspired and energized—definitely a band I can’t recommend enough!

January 15, 2025Gray Matter is a great group of friends who give so much of their spare time to practicing and performing jazz music at many venues in my area. I have followed them for years and love their music. The talent not only vocally, but instrumental is exceptional. I would highly recommend them! 🎺
