My comedy ranges from dry/stupid/wordplay to Rated-R, is custom tailored for your audience, and otherwise centers around my life as a husband, dad, customer service employee, car guy, do-it-yourselfer, outdoorsman, and guy with a radio voice ("Does this guy even do comedy, or is he here to kick off a 40-minute classic rock block?") I have up to an hour of prepared material; and that can absolutely be 100% clean.

To me, standup comedy is a conversation, so I love to create an environment where everyone in the room feels safe to leave their problems at the door, and free to enjoy the therapeutic effects that spontaneous laughter can have on a person!

I was such a class clown that I'm lucky one of my grade school teachers didn't kill me. My classmates, however, became like family and many still are. When they weren't pulling their hair out, my teachers often complimented my "quick wit," long before I even knew what that meant.

I was lucky enough to watch my first HBO standup comedy special when I was 7, and it became an addiction. (Thanks, Mom!!)

In addition to writing and performing standup comedy since 2009, I have worked as an emcee, writer, producer, and top-rated radio host since 2002. What's better than laughter and great music? Not much!

One one hand, I naturally call things around me as I see them. On the other, I have always been driven by making a person's day better than it was before we met. I was told from age 12 that I was a comedian, but for years thought my family and friends were just biased. It is beyond liberating to lean into that all the way, and not even get written up for it!

A room with no visual nor audio distractions is best. It's also a big plus if the audience members can sit close to the stage, as audiences consistently feel more comfortable laughing out loud the closer they are to the stage. Dim or no lighting for the audience and more lighting on the stage is great; but I understand that many rooms don't offer a lot of versatility when it comes to light, so we'll do the best that we can. A good p.a. system is a must, so everyone in the room can hear me clearly. If you don't have one in place, I can bring my portable sound system upon request.
