Ryan and Brad were awesome and really pulled together our wedding reception to make it a more memorable night. From the time I messaged them up to the wedding night they were always quick to respond and open to any ideas or questions we had. They made the night really laid back and chill and played some great music which is exactly what we wanted for our reception!
Response from Freak Duology:
Trisha,
Thanks so much for having us for such a great night. We felt appreciated every step of the way! Hope to play for you again soon!

Freak Duology was started in 2018 by Brad Wehlitz & Ryan Shephard, two members of the 2x CEA Nominated band for 'Best Rock Act' (2018, 2019), PRNAV Album of the Year Award 2017, Madison Theater Band Challenge winners 2018, and Cincinnati's Next Big Band Competition winners 2017, Freak Mythology.
The duo focuses on capturing the same essence of their live band but in an acoustic format, featuring Brad on acoustic guitar and lead vocals, and Ryan on electric guitar and backing vocals. They have been described in and around Cincinnati as an eclectic duo that has the value and feel of a live band with just two members. As local favorites at the 40+ venues they play in the greater Cincinnati area, Freak Duology plays out 5 nights a week and tours regularly.
Brad has been playing music his entire life and developed his vocal skills while attending school in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was played well over 300 gigs as a vocalist and rhythm guitarist in numerous different bands. His vocal influences include many greats from over the past 5 decades such as Levon Helm, Bob Dylan, Bob Weir, Bono, and Mick Jagger.
Ryan has played in over 20 different bands ranging from big band style jazz music to blues, rock, and latin bands. He has received numerous musical awards for guitar performance, and was the first chair guitarist for the Ohio Honors Jazz Program 4 years in a row before he graduated high school.
