Featherpocket Stringband is a Charlotte, NC based bluegrass band with wide ranging influences. Featuring guitar, mandolin, fiddle, upright bass, and harmonica, Featherpocket harnesses the tradition and virtuosity of the genre while introducing indie songwriting conventions.
Featherpocket Stringband is currently recording a full-length album in collaboration with LA-based Water Tower, has performed at festivals across the southeast, and supported some of the biggest names in bluegrass.

Rock n'roll, country, bluegrass, folk & beyond - Featherpocket is always pushing to take its sound into new territory. Drawing influence from the Velvet Underground, Gram Parsons , as well as modern artists like Susto, Featherpocket has something to offer any listener. In 2025, Featherpocket began a bluegrass project in collaboration with LA-based Watertower. 3 singles have been released under Featherpocket Stringband, with 7 more slated for 2026.
Featherpocket has performed at the Carrborro Bluegrass Festival, Hopscotch, Confluence Carolinas Festival, Charlotte SHOUT!, Artsplosure Raleigh, and has shared the stage with Lillie Mae, Watertower, Susto, Larry Keel, the Blackfoot Gypsies, Boy Named Banjo, Travers Brothership, Sarah Shook & the Disarmers, David Childers, Kendall Street Co. & many more.
