Ever After Bartending

I had a mixed experience with Ever After Bartending.

Unfortunately, communication with the owner, Trisha, was very difficult throughout the planning process. I was told multiple times that she was out of the country, and I found myself having to follow up through WhatsApp, text messages, email, and GigSalad just to get responses. Communication was inconsistent across all platforms, which made planning unnecessarily stressful.

The event preparation also felt poorly organized. At the outset of booking, Trisha collected all the standard event details, including the address, phone number, guest count, and party start and end times. However, she never made it clear that the start time provided would be treated as the bartender’s arrival time rather than the time service was expected to begin. Any experienced event planner would know that if additional setup time is required and not included in the quoted service period, that expectation should be clearly communicated when the event details are first collected so the client can plan accordingly and ensure a smooth start to the evening.

There was also no proactive outreach before the event to discuss logistics. After repeated attempts to clarify the timeline, I finally connected with Trisha the night before the event and learned that the bartender would not be arriving early to prepare. I ended up paying extra for an earlier arrival, which turned out to be essential because the setup took approximately an hour.

That said, the bartender, Julieth, was absolutely fantastic. She was professional, capable, kind, and clearly very skilled at her craft. Her drinks were outstanding, and my guests raved all night about her margaritas and mojitos. She was easily the highlight of the experience and did an excellent job once the event was underway.

While Julieth’s service was exceptional, I cannot recommend Ever After to anyone who values clear communication, proactive planning, and thoughtful event preparation. If those aspects are important to you, you may want to consider other options.
