I wish there was a way to rate this service with 4.5 stars. Tony, our bar person was clean, professional an on time the day of the event although; contact with her was a bit tight time wise. Professional looking and presentation, mixed drinks were fine however, guests were expecting to have their chosen drinks freshly mixed instead of picking up an already prepared one. I can understand the idea behind having ready made drinks however, the fact of having a barperson is to have a freshly mixed drink. A list of drinks being served list would have been helpful. Aside of that things went well. They were on top of the drink service with very little almost no supervision from my part, aside of checking a couple of time to make sure they had all that was needed thus freeing me up to enjoy our gathering. I will not book them again, I will recommend their services to anyone that would ask about bartending for a gathering.

My event manager, Keith, helped to meet my expectations and provided a great planning experience to make sure my wedding bar went off without a hitch. My day-of bartenders, Carina and Alexa, absolutely crushed it behind the bar. We purchased spirits, mixers, beer, seltzers, and wine, and Carina and Alexa made sure no one was unsatisfied. We had a rowdy crowd, to which they matched the energy.

If you need event staffing look n further than National Bartender Staffing! I needed a bartender to serve at a house party, and Tiffany, our server, was fantastic! She was knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. She stayed in communication with me ahead of time so we could coordinate, and all of the guests loved her. Keith, the overall coordinator was also great. He was very responsive to all of ny questions ahead of time and even sent me a detailed shopping list for drink supplies based on our number of guests and the drinks we wanted to serve. Not clear why this is now posting. This event was 2 1/2 years ago and, with our support, this bartender eventually went to Rehabilitation and has left the company and bartending. It was a surprising and unfortunate incident, as this was a well-regarded bartender with no history of this behavior. After his father's death he spiraled into an emotional state where he needed help. We supported him and apologized to the client, while offering several options of compensation. It certainly doesn't represent the service we are known to provide.

We will definitely be using their services again.

I hired three servers for a small intimate wedding with Keith. He was amazing to work with and the ladies who helped us at the wedding were fantastic. They were always willing to help with re stocking the buffet like, buffer the tables and clean up at the end. Amazing work, they really helped us out. I also booked last minute and Keith was very flexible with me. I definitely recommend using them if you need help at your wedding.

I can't say enough good things about these guys. They are an absolute delight to work with. Keith helped us organize and select our drink menu for our backyard Luau. He gave us a shopping list of the ingredients needed for our cocktails based on the amount of guests.
Diego was the bartender for the night wen't out of his way to connect with me the day before the event to make sure we are on the same page. He even printed out a menu of our specialty cocktails for the night. He checked in with me throughout the night to make sure everything was good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS.

Sorry for delayed to reply I’ve been busy cleaning up the beach house .
What I seen some quite odd were ..
Setting up tables I had everything in the box for each table to set up they didn’t complete what I made instructions book for them to do and they didn’t add glasses they forgot to bring them on table. Also they didn’t start moving the tables right after ceremony that I had to cut my time shorter for photography to get the staffs start bring tables out while my guests are in cocktail area waiting for the seats. It was unexpected very windy at that moment that we had to struggle abit harder to make everything we cud.
No one in my guests were complaining besides myself and I’m ok with that LOL I love your staffs they are doing their best they can and they did show me so much support. They had me feel comfortable having them around doing what they can becuse I was lost at the moment. I learned so much and I wish I had wedding planner that I wasnt sure if I need one. SMH
I gave good tips for each of your staffs in person for their good hard work and I wud recommend all your servers to anyone for the better.

I received a confirmation for Gig Salad that my booking was accepted National Bartender Staffing. I was provided with that name and phone number of the supposed bartender. The bartender was scheduled to start at 5:30. At 5:45 I called her, no answer, so I left her a message. I called the staffing agency but got a voicemail. I left them a message but received no call back. Very unprofessional and very disappointing.

I submitted an inquiry on GigSalad for a bartender for my mother’s 70th birthday. Right away I received a very reasonable quote from
National Bartender Staffing along with a few others. NBS’s offerings and quote far surpassed the others. I contracted NBS and worked with a point person who was responsive and made the coordination process more than easy. We discussed signature cocktails to serve and he provided a shopping list of ingredients and quantities for each. So easy! Our Mobile Bartender contacted me prior to the event to introduce herself and firm details. She arrived at the event on time and prepared. She was personable yet professional and made excellent cocktails for our guests. She even received a loud round of applause! There was a small snafu with the glass vendor at the end of the event but NBS handled it so I wouldn’t need to. NBS is ***** (5 stars) all the way! I thank them very much.

Fantastic experience. Keith and Amber accommodated my requests. Amber showed up earlier to prep and to adjust the drinks’ recipes ahead of guests arriving. She was courteous with guests, and delivered drinks all night. I was able to extend the hours beyond what it was originally contracted without any problem. Keith followed up promptly at every turn. Our bartender was friendly and on time. Easily conversed with our guests and helped the other girls we hired serve dinner for our 14 person dinner party. We had hired a Bartender from National Bartending Staff, but she didn't know how to mix drinks. We had requested someone who knew how to make Martinis and Manhattans. When one of our guest had to show her how to open a bottle of wine, we knew mix drinks were not an option. After getting to know her, she said the bar she worked at as a bartender had their cocktail drink options premixed and ready to pour. She was professional and friendly as mentioned previously, but not qualified for what we requested and paid for that evening. I don't think she had any idea that we were going to ask her to mix drinks. Although everyone had a good time and "helped" bartend, the service was not what we were expecting.

Keith, the company owner, responded to my bartender request promptly.
Despite me trying to book last moment, he assigned a lovely bartender named Raylia for our Birthday party.
Keith tweaked the cocktail menu I created and passed it on to Raylia so she knew what kinds of cocktails to make.
Raylia came on time and set up the bar. She even brought cocktail picks in gold/black according to the color scheme of the event. She made alcoholic gummy bears to decorate cocktails with which was a special touch and the guests were very interested to taste.
Raylia had great problem solving skills and was able to perform despite minor set backs as far as us missing some of the supplies, etc.
I would definitely recommend National Bartender Staffing for any events and will definitely hire them again in the future!

I had booked this company for a classy, black tie 70th birthday party for my Dad held at my home outdoors.
The request was for 1 bartender and 2 waitstaff. Waitstaff was to arrive at 4:30 to help set up. The 2 waitstaff arrived at 5:15...the party started at 5:30 pm. They came with black jeans and only one had a black dress shirt while the other had a white short sleeved polo. This was a black tie event so they looked out of place and unprofessional. They also came with no masks. I had to ask repeatedly for them to keep their masks on throughout the night. They were completely unexperienced at parties which the worst part. Passed appetizers were a fail. They didn't even know how to slice the bread and put it in the bread baskets. They had to be reminded to keep food coming from the kitchen to refill chaffing dishes. No experience cutting cake and serving. Did not refill water in the glasses or wine during the dinner. They left dishes in the sink and garbages full. They really didn't help at all and I had to be in the kitchen with my brother to make sure the food was placed correctly in chafing dishes. I would have been better off hiring my son's teenage friends. I am giving them 2 stars because the bartender came early, set up, and knew what she was doing. She cleaned the area after her shift and was professional. Would never use this company again!

We signed a contract to have morning staff to help set up a wedding reception and evening staff to work the reception. In the week/days leading up to the event, I attempted to contact the service coordinator multiple times via telephone and messaging to confirm times, number of staff, etc. I never heard back from the coordinator. The day of the event, the morning staff that was in the contract never showed up, leaving us in a difficult position to set up the event without the additional help we expected. The evening staff showed up on time and were very professional and completed the event exactly as expected. Overall, due to the lack of reliable communication and contract agreement not being met, I would not recommend this company, nor would I book them again. However the staff that did come to work the event were professional, hard working, and greatly improved the quality of the event.

We had two servers for party of 45. They put in an extraordinary effort to make our party a success! They listened, learned quickly, and were so friendly to me and our guests. We hosted an on-line fundraiser recently and hired a National Bartenders mixologist (tony) to create an ocean-themed cocktail and mocktail for the event and demonstrate to participants how to make it. We received the ingredients list in advance to share with our attendees and during the event Tony demonstrate how to make a truly delicious Ocean Lovers Blue Margarita. How "guests" loved it and Tony was a delight. We would use this service again and ask for Tony.

What to Expect
Our bartenders are experienced and exceptional. We do not hire bartenders off the street. All our bartenders are sourced from one of our training academies, which ensures they are, not only, well trained in mixology, but also customer service and ethics.
Our bartenders arrive with a full kit of all the tools required to create cocktails and serve alcoholic beverages. Also included in the booking is a consultation on signature cocktails, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Finally, included is the development of a personalized shopping list, based on the drink menu, the guest count, and the duration of the event.
We also offer a variety of services that ease your burden of planning and managing an event. Our Wait Staff Servers are well trained in Table Service and Buffet Management. We offer several packages that range from Garnish Only, Mixer Packages, Beer & Wine, Coffee & Tea, and All-Inclusive Alcohol Packages.
Additionally, we offer glassware rental, mobile bars, cocktail tables, and ice service.

National Bartender Staffing was started in 2013 by Paul Michaels in Thousand Oaks, CA. Today, NB Staffing has 9 offices, and serves all of LA County, Santa Barbara County, Ventura County, Inland Empire, Orange County, Bakersfield, and the entire San Francisco Bay Area - North, South, and East Bay Areas. Additionally, we serve all of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Conneticut, Nevada, New Mexico, and Colorado.
