Ethan Poetic is a walking-living miracle, surviving a near-fatal head on car accident with an 18-wheeler truck on Route 30 in Paradise, Pa Saturday, March 19th, 2011. Ethan was extracted from the car by the Jaws of Life, Ethan was rushed by Ambulance to Lancaster General Hospital for emergency surgery for torn aorta artery. Ethan was only given a 1% percent chance of survival and after Several days passed Ethan woke on his own, the doctors and medical staff declared Ethan a walking-living miracle. For several weeks he was at Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital for occupational, physical, & speech therapy.
Ethan went on to complete an Associate Degree in General Studies at Harrisburg Area Community College in 2017, and a Bachelor Degree in Speech Communications with a minor in Broadcasting and Media at Millersville University, in 2020.

Ethan received two Pennsylvania Commonwealth Citations from Senator Scott Martin & House of Representative Mike Sturla for overcoming adversities & being a two-time college graduate. Lancaster City Council & Mayor, Danene Sorace, also adopted a Proclamation Declaration resolution for recognizing Ethan’s miraculous recovery as a walking, living miracle. Ethan has also been featured by several media outlets including: a Front-Page featured article by John Walk in the Lancaster Newspaper April 1, 2021, and by WGAL in May 7, 2021, as reported by Reporter Barbara Barr.

In 2021, Ethan founded Ethan A. Poetic, LLC to inspire youth in communities and school districts, by finding his voice through social media, public speaking and his written works. Ethan has truly turned his adversities into his advantage. He has spoken in New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Washington D.C.

His autobiography, The Inspirational Story of Ethan A. Poetic, chronicles experiences with Adversities, Education, Sports, Relationships, & Resiliency. It was published November 22, 2022, through Amazon, Ingram spark, Target, Walmart, Barnes & Noble. Ethan is available for public speaking and book signing engagements:
