The storyline they created was perfect for the event and kept everyone engaged, entertained, and fully into it from start to finish. They did such a great job creating an experience that felt fun, unique, and memorable for all of our guests. Truly one of the highlights of the party. Working with Sara and team was fantastic. August 18, 2025Everyone at our son's 16th birthday party loved the 40s Hollywood Murder Mystery, and Erin really did a great job getting the kids (high school theatre kids) into the plot. I would highly recommend Oxymorons Improv and Entertainment to anyone who wants to make their event something out of the ordinary, and fun!

Our improv games, familiar to those who watched “Whose Line Is It Anyway?,” are all about using audience suggestions to drive our show. We can make a show as clean or dirty as you like! We also are more than willing to use our group's talents to help make the show yours - we can get your boss on stage for some good-natured fun, we can make your son or daughter the star of the show, or we can get a theme for the night. Our murder mysteries are led by veteran murder mystery actors, with each show customized for the audience and filled with "whodunnit" crime solving by the audience, crazy costumes and characters, and a whole lot of laughter.
The Oxymorons specialize in improv comedy, with our members experienced in everything from game shows and musicals to murder mysteries and trivia nights. We've trained at several top improv organizations in the region, and are experienced at corporate team-building workshops as well as being the featured entertainment at festivals, private parties, and more.
Our group is based in the York/Harrisburg area of Pennsylvania, and we're willing to travel. We've been performing for more than a decade with hundreds of shows under our belt! Please let us know what we can do to make your event special.
