Overview
The Oxymorons specialize in custom murder mysteries and improv comedy for corporate events, private parties, fundraisers, and more. Based in central PA, we travel and perform for groups of all sizes.
Our murder mysteries are fully customizable with a variety of themes. Our improv shows — think "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" — use audience suggestions, so no two shows are alike. We also host game shows in the style of Family Feud or Minute to Win It.

They did a wonderful job at a birthday party. Everyone had a blast and absolutely loved the show! Very entertaining and they got the guest involved with it as well. Would highly recommend them for anyone that needs amazing talent!!!

I had the pleasure to hire the Oxymorons for the Pennsylvania Assisted Living Association's Fall Conference, to perform a murder mystery dinner theatre program. They were a SMASHING success for our members! We had so much fun after a long day of learning. The group was hysterically funny. Sara was a pleasure to work with during the booking process and took the time to truly ensure we had what we wanted. I would highly recommend them for your group!

We had Oxymorons Improv & Entertainment out last week at our Summer Camp! I had kids aged 5-14 plus our counselors and everyone loved them! They really got the kids involved and made everyone laugh! We will definitely have them again.

We used Oxymorons Comedy for my wife’s 40th murder mystery birthday party, and they were absolutely amazing. The storyline they created was perfect for the event and kept everyone engaged, entertained, and fully into it from start to finish. They did such a great job creating an experience that felt fun, unique, and memorable for all of our guests. Truly one of the highlights of the party. Working with Sara and team was fantastic. Highly recommend!

What to expect
Our improv games, familiar to those who watched “Whose Line Is It Anyway?,” are all about using audience suggestions to drive our show. We can make a show as clean or dirty as you like! We also are more than willing to use our group's talents to help make the show yours - we can get your boss on stage for some good-natured fun, we can make your son or daughter the star of the show, or we can get a theme for the night. Our murder mysteries are led by veteran murder mystery actors, with each show customized for the audience and filled with "whodunnit" crime solving by the audience, crazy costumes and characters, and a whole lot of laughter.
About
The Oxymorons specialize in improv comedy, with our members experienced in everything from game shows and musicals to murder mysteries and trivia nights. We've trained at several top improv organizations in the region, and are experienced at corporate team-building workshops as well as being the featured entertainment at festivals, private parties, and more.
Our group is based in the York/Harrisburg area of Pennsylvania, and we're willing to travel. We've been performing for more than a decade with hundreds of shows under our belt! Please let us know what we can do to make your event special.
