What to expect
When an audience comes to see me, they can expect a grounded, thoughtful, and purpose-driven speaker who brings both depth and discipline to the stage. My delivery is traditional and formal. I speak from a lectern, with a focus on clarity, cadence, and content over theatrics. You won’t see a high-energy performance or motivational-style hype. What you will see is a compelling presence, a strong narrative arc, and a message that resonates long after the applause ends. I speak from lived leadership experience, not rehearsed talking points. My speeches are shaped by 20 years of military service, executive-level nonprofit leadership, and a deep commitment to service and integrity. Whether addressing graduates, public leaders, or professionals, I take care to meet the moment, offering insight that’s relevant, reflective, and rooted in values. I incorporate stories, lessons, and clear takeaways designed to inspire action, foster reflection, and encourage growth.
If a client hires me, they can expect professionalism at every stage. I arrive prepared, research the audience, and tailor my message to reflect the goals of the event. I collaborate closely with planners to ensure logistics run smoothly, timelines are respected, and the tone aligns with the occasion. Whether it’s a commencement, keynote, leadership summit, or civic gathering, I represent both myself and your organization with dignity, discipline, and care. My strength is in connecting with audiences who want more than entertainment—they want something real. I offer substance, structure, and a speaker who treats the platform as a trust, not a spotlight. I don’t just speak to inspire. I speak to serve. If that’s what your event needs, I’d be honored to bring that to your stage.

Influences and inspiration
My approach to leadership and speaking has been shaped by a combination of military experience, public service, and principled voices who lead with conviction. During my time in the U.S. Air Force, I was deeply influenced by noncommissioned officers and commanders who modeled what it meant to lead under pressure with calm, competence, and unwavering integrity. That foundation informs how I carry myself, both as an executive and as a speaker. Among public figures, I’ve long admired General Colin Powell, whose steady leadership and practical wisdom reflect a quiet strength that resonates across ranks and generations. I’m also influenced by President Barack Obama, particularly his thoughtful, measured style of public speaking able to connect intellectually and emotionally without ever sacrificing dignity or clarity. In the military realm, General David Petraeus stands out for his strategic vision and his ability to lead in the most complex operational environments while still prioritizing learning, adaptability, and accountability.
What connects all of these influences for me is a common thread: they lead with intention, not ego. They elevate those around them, speak with purpose, and act with clarity. These are traits I strive to embody in both my leadership and my speaking offering audiences substance over style, grounded insight over hype, and messages that stand the test of time.
Ultimately, my greatest influences also come from those I’ve led and served alongside: airmen, front-line workers, and community members who remind me every day that leadership isn’t about spotlight it’s about responsibility. And that’s what I bring to every stage I stand on.
