Dr. Charis Rooks | Christian Speaker, Author, & Professor
Overview
Helping People Find Hope, Purpose, and Grace
I help audiences reconnect with purpose, experience healing, and lead with faith through God's Word and real-life testimony. As an author, speaker, and graduate professor, I blend biblical teaching, leadership insight, and authentic encouragement that meets people where they are.
I have a special heart for those navigating difficult seasons, including grief, loss, setbacks, leadership challenges, identity struggles, and the quiet battles that can silence a person's calling. My goal at every event is to create a grace-filled environment where people can strengthen their faith and leave with renewed hope, greater clarity, and practical next steps.

Additional booking notes
Sound: A handheld or lavalier microphone is requested for medium/large rooms so everyone can hear clearly.
Visuals (rare): I rarely use slides. If I choose to show a single image (ex: a family photo), a screen/projector and an HDMI connection are appreciated, but not required.
Arrival: I prefer to arrive 30–45 minutes early to get settled and coordinate with the event host.
Optional: If possible, I appreciate a brief opportunity to see the speaking space beforehand so I can pray over the room and the attendees. If that isn’t possible, no problem at all.
Recording: Recording is welcome. For grief-related events, please let me know in advance if the session will be recorded so I can frame any sensitive moments appropriately.
