We're a smartly styled trio, dressed to impress, with the female vocalist embracing the vintage 30s/40s/50s look, and the guys looking sharp in suits or vintage style attire, depending on the venue and event. We come prepared with a pre-determined setlist and can shift to substitute in songs from our repertoire if necessary.
We can prepare special request songs in advance.
We will arrive at least a half hour prior to the start of a gig to set up and soundcheck.

Diamond Swing Jazz is a vintage cool jazz trio specializing in standards, bossa, blues, and ballads. Formed in early 2020, DSJ has enjoyed performing and building our following in the Philadelphia/Wilmington area.
Our repertoire includes vintage sounds from as early as the 1920s, on up to contemporary songs stylized to swing. Featuring the sweet vocal stylings of Gretchen Reeder, you'll get the tunes of Ella Fitzgerald, Billy Holiday, Peggy Lee, Edith Piaf, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra, Amy Winehouse, Norah Jones, and more.
Veteran musicians Nick DiFalco (guitar) and Sean Dorn (bass) can create an atmosphere that swings, or slow things down for a moody blues.
We can cater our sound to any atmosphere. If you're looking for vintage standards, cool bossa nova, or a swinging sound that kicks, look no further!

We're plug and play! We have our own mic/sound equipment, so as long as you have electric, we can set up, plug in and play.
