Devin Matthews- Classical Guitarist

-I play a varied repertoire of traditional classical guitar favorites spanning from the Baroque period to the present day. Pieces by Bach, Tarrega, Chopin, Barrios, and many others provide plenty of music to choose from for any type of event.

-Classical guitar is well suited for background music as well as concert settings. With an excellent sound system, I can tailor the sound of my guitar to suit your space even in a large or loud room.

-Great for small, intimate settings. With my small setup, I won't take up much space. The sound of the guitar is excellent for soft background music as well.

-As a soloist, I can provide top-notch music for your venue or event at a fraction of the price it would cost to hire a whole band or string quartet.

Weddings may include:
- 30 minutes of pre-service music
- Processional for bridal party
- Bride's procession
- a special musical selection during the service, as needed
- Recessional
- Up to 10 minutes of post-service music as guests exit

Receptions/Dinner/Background
The musical selection for wedding receptions and casual events is elegant and beautiful music that your guests will enjoy hearing in the background during your event.

Extra charges for: Travel outside of 40 mile radius extra, certain special music due to extra time or cost to acquire, attendance at rehearsal)

For events other than a wedding ceremony, I will take a 10-15 minute break after every 45 minutes to 1 hour of music.

Devin Matthews began playing guitar when she was twelve years old. By the time she was 15, she regularly played at recitals, restaurants, and events in her home state of Arkansas. She graduated from Webster University in St. Louis in 2016 with a Bachelor's of Music in Instrumental Performance.

Highlights of her time at Webster include performing as a soloist with the Webster University Chamber Orchestra in 2015 and touring as a soloist with the Webster University Chamber Singers in 2016. Ms. Matthews also studied with Olivier Chassain (Professor of Guitar at the Paris Conservatory) on numerous occasions in St. Louis, as well as in Nice, France, during the summer of 2013.

Throughout her career, she has performed at concerts, weddings, events, art galleries, and restaurants, bringing the joy and beauty of classical guitar to her audiences. Based near Billings, Montana, she currently performs in the greater Montana/Wyoming area.

-Depending on the space and if it's needed, I will provide my own sound setup for no extra cost.
What I'll need:
-Immediate access to a power outlet for my gear.
- A chair with no arms (not a stool). A piano bench is fine as well.
-Shelter from extreme elements (not in direct hot sunlight, cold, rain, etc.)
