Michael has a B.S. in Music from the University of Colorado at Denver where he is also a lecturer of music and guitar with the College of Arts and Media. Michael performs 275+ functions a year, including weddings, funerals, military functions, schools, retirement homes, golf tournaments, parties, corporate functions, promotions, conventions, bars, and more.

Is there any place to have 6 stars? Michael was an ace when it came to communication, which was super important as this was for a destination wedding. When we were late and the other musician had to leave before the end, Michael came through and gave us our perfect wedding. In addition, he was a champ and handled our amplification needs for a very fair price. I cannot recommend Michael more. He is a total rock star and I cannot praise him enough for our perfect day.

If there was a more difficult week/weekend to have a wedding it was our wedding on 9-14. Our Venue, Sunrise amphitheater, was closed due to the flooding. We were able to make it work with 30hrs to the wedding. Michael was great. He made it to our last minute venue at my parents house. Even with the arbor i had made for my wife and I for the ceremony falling down and hitting him he still was able to play most beautifully. It of course rained and was windy but our ceremony was unbelievable and Michael made it unforgettable. Not only was he accommodating, Michael was a pretty rad Cat. I hope there is another event that we can use him for.

You Performed for my husband, Earl Ray's, burial at Grandview Cemetery. This is a much belated but heartfelt thank you for your excellent performance. Many people were heard commenting on the beautiful and meaningful music of the bagpipe to end the service. It was a special tribute we will always remember.

Michael was excellent. The look on the Bride's face when she heard his first note was priceless. He added so much to this special ceremony. We especially appreciated his flexibility while we worked through restrictions with the Academy chapel and his willingness to pose for pictures after the wedding. We highly recommend Michael for anyone looking for a premier bagpiper!
