The Confabulation of Gentry is a Dixieland band with a difference! Male & female singers mix with trumpet, trombone, tuba, xylophone, piano & banjo (and our secret weapon - a clockwork drummer) to provide an instant 'turn of the century' party for any occasion, with authentic upbeat danceable brass sounds that evoke old world New Orleans.
For larger shows, a carnival busker, magician, and dancers complete the picture to present an encompassing vaudeville experience!

The New Orleans Steamcog Orchestra is a 9 piece dixieland/ragtime ensemble that serves danceable brass sounds with male and female lead vocals and lots of great instrumental breaks.
For smaller performances, quartet, quintet and sextet versions of the group are also available for lower pricing - contact us to negotiate and we will deliver an entertaining event!

The New Orleans Steamcog Orchestra is a Dixieland/Ragtime band with a difference! Male & female singers mix with trumpet, trombone, clarinet, xylophone, upright bass, piano & banjo (and our secret weapon - a clockwork drummer) to provide an instant 'turn of the century' party for any occasion, with authentic upbeat danceable brass sounds that evoke old world New Orleans.
The band travels with its own amplifiers and speakers and requires only an electrical outlet for performance (though we can work with any PA system.) The group also carries its own drum riser for 'COGSWorthy', our clockwork drummer.
We have a spotlight available if needed, but require no special lighting.
A video projector and screen are available to set the scene with silent film backgrounds, for a larger fee.
