December 4, 2024The Sweethearts are my kind of band!
We loved watching and listening to the Sweethearts at a family reunion. They are a professional, talented and unique jazz trio.
I will definitely look them up when I return to New Orleans next year!

March 24, 2025Wonderful to work with!
We booked a group similar to the NOLA Sweethearts through GIGI Salad, where the bass player also played in another group, which had availability on the evening we needed the trio. She presented the information to me and answered all of my questions very timely. They were FANTASTIC! I would book them again and again! They did an overall great job, had a lot of attention to detail, were prompt, dressed appropriately, and everyone loved them. Very happy!

December 6, 2024A treat of a trio!
The Nola Sweethearts provide terrific entertainment. Their musical repertoire spans the decades of early jazz. Beyond their talent, the Sweethearts connect seamlessly with their audience and through their musicianship and stage presence, create a festive rich experience. I would highly recommend them for any public or private event.

Additional booking notes
Our technical requirements are simple..
We bring our own sound equipment, and that will cover most situations. If you have a large event in a large space, then additional amplification that involves a PA and someone to set it up would be required.
We also need two car parking spaces with reasonable walking access to the place we will perform.
Influences and inspiration
Our greatest influence is the music of The Quintette du Hot Club de France ("The Quintet of the Hot Club of France"), who were a jazz group founded in France in 1934 by guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist Stéphane Grappelli and active in one form or another until 1948.
Another time and another place, but.. As musicians that live and perform in one of the richest musical cities of America we incorporate a New Orleans vibe into everything we play.
Setup requirements
- Two chairs without arms
An electric outlet close to the space you would like us to set up in
