Overview
Hi! I’m Cindy Zhu, the instrument I play is called Guzheng. It is a traditional Chinese plucked zither (21 or 26 strings) known for its flowing water sound. Its melodies can be calm or powerful, making it fit varying of occasions. Over the years, I’ve been performing on stage more than 50 times as part of my teacher’s Guzheng ensemble. One of the most memorable highlights was performing at the Carnegie Hall in New York City. In addition to stage performances, I’ve also played live Guzheng music in a restaurant for over 2 years. If you’re looking to bring a touch of authentic Chinese culture and music to your event , I’d love to bring this beautiful instrument to your occasion! Thank you!
