Carol is a best-selling author and popular speaker at women's conferences and retreats, where she teaches the Word of God with great joy and enthusiasm. Carol encourages and empowers women with passionate and practical biblical messages mixed with her own special brand of hope and humor.

Carol is a prolific author and loves digging for treasure in the Word of God.

Her 16th book, “Timeless: The Living and Enduring Word of God,” which released June 2023, dives into the book of 1 Peter. Even though it was written two millennia ago, it is as practical, hopeful, and up-to-date as anything written today. In this Bible study, Carol encourages us to find the timeless truths of Scripture found in Peter’s words. It has an accompanying 9-week video teaching series, making it a great choice for small group study.

In 2023, Carol McLeod Ministries is sending 1,000 copies of Carol’s 15th book, “Meanwhile: Meeting God in the Wait,” to women in prison. In this study, Carol examines the life of Joseph and what it means to “wait well” as God labors behind the scenes to work all things together for our good and for His glory. Through strategic partnerships and generous donors, this initiative is bringing hope to the hopeless, and this Bible study is changing lives.

“At Home in Your Heart” won second place in the 2023 Selah Awards in the devotional category.

“Rooms of a Mother’s Heart,” a devotional for moms, was released in 2021, winning the 2022 Director’s Choice Award from the Blue Ridge Writer’s Conference. “At Home in Your Heart,” released in March 2022.

Carol was the first Women’s Chaplain at Oral Roberts University and received the university’s prestigious “Alumna of the Year” award for distinguished service to God in 2021. Currently Carol is President and CEO of Carol McLeod Ministries.

Carol has been married to her college sweetheart, Craig, for 44 years and is the mother of 5 children in heaven and 5 children on earth. Graduates of Oral Roberts University, Craig and Carol have spent the past 38 years pastoring churches across America. Currently, Craig is the North American Director for Global Partners and is training pastors and helping to plant churches in unreached areas of the globe.
