Jessi LaCosta is a Transformational Speaker, Leadership and Resilience Advisor, Board Certified Coach and owner of Think BlueRio. Overcoming extreme challenges including a car-jacking at gun-point, home invasions and on the professional side - managing more than one organizational crisis – set her on a path of insatiable thirst for answers to help others move their visions into reality. LaCosta has founded several innovative coaching and consulting models, having been the first in the USA to fuse interpersonal neurobiology, branding and conflict management together as a way to coach and consult people and teams transforming difficult situations to ones of great potential.

In 2012, LaCosta founded the USA’s first BCC-Approved training program specifically focused on producing quality, certified coaches to assist military veterans with life-mapping & career transition. She also has designed BCC-Approved Coach Certification Training in the areas of leadership, resilience, life-mapping, mindfulness and personal branding.

Prior to the launch of THINK BlueRio (formerly BlueRio Strategies), she was recruited to work at one of the nation’s top advertising agencies, Deutsch. They had noticed her ability to bridge the gaps between clients and in-house creative talent, from her former work in helping to launch a unique organizational model for an Ophthalmic Surgery Center in New York City.

She is the recipient of both the H. Mebane Turner Service and the Thomas J. Pullen Outstanding Young Alumna Awards from the University of Baltimore and was honored with a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Duncan Hunter - Member of Congress, "in recognition of your dedication to support our veterans and their families."LaCosta also received a 2013 Women Who Impact San Diego award from San Diego Metro Magazine.

She has been featured in local, regional and international media and is working on her first novel about the power of transformation and resilience; One Survivor’s Journey of Becoming More.
