June 23, 2026Richard played Highland Cathedral on the bagpipes at our son’s wedding as the bride walked down to the area where the wedding was held. She and her family are Irish and the groom wanted to surprise her with the playing of the bagpipes. Richard was easy to communicate with, professional and on time. He did a great job and plays the bagpipes beautifully.

If you are having a wedding, I can "play you down the aisle after the ceremony is complete"
If a funeral, I can play Amazing Grace from afar, and walk into the ceremony which tends to be dramatic.
I can work with you to add any flourishes you wish
I have been playing the Great Highland Pipes for about 30 years. I have played at weddings, funerals, and other occasions. Some folks want a simple "Amazing Grace" and other folks want a wedding march. I have played at Anniversaries, and Birthdays.
I have no requirements, other than I require shade if I am playing in the summer sun
