Andre's Grandma from Victorious

Fans of Victorious are always surprised to see Andre's Grandma. Her entrance is explosive. Usually running. She's quirky and nervous. She might scream I DON'T KNOW YOU. She might smile. Or point at you. You never know.
Once she gets used to the room of people she might rap with Percy beatboxing. Or dance, or ask the people in the room crazy questions. It's always fun. Percy will keep Andre's Grandma from running away. No matter how many times she tries to escape.
If it's a birthday party, Andre's Grandma will ask the birthday person to come close to her. She might scream DON'T TOUCH MY SKIN! She could scoot back from the person. Or poke them with her finger. To make the birthday person feel special, she will have an autographed picture and toy for them. But they will have to wrestle it from her because she's too nervous to let go.

I was happy being a Litigation Secretary in a law firm. But my husband Percy, an actor, saw an actor in me. He convinced me to sign up with his Agent. That lead to me eventually being booked to play the recurring role of Andre's Grandma on Nickelodeon's Victorious. The character is crazy, scared of everything, likes to scream I DON'T KNOW YOU at people, and can run fast.
To my surprise, the character Andre's Grandma has a huge fan base. I call them "GrandFans". Grandma plus Fans. When Victorious cancelled in 2012, Percy and I opened a YouTube channel to post Andre's Grandma vids. Andre's Grandma continued her quirky ways. And we had fun using our creative skills creating skits and music for the vids. GrandFans love our YouTube channel.
Next came Instagram and TikTok where we posted more Andre's Grandma content along with other stuff. Because GrandFans wanted more and more information about Victorious and Andre's Grandma, we started a podcast called "Victoriously Crazy Podcast". A GrandFan named Bennett Scheer helped us tremendously with production. We interviewed cast, crew and production staff of Victorious and other Nickelodeon shows. It was fun while it lasted. The SAG-AFTRA strike lead to the decision to end the podcast.
Victorious and Andre's Grandma have a fan base that is huge, loyal and connected. Matt Bennett who played the character Robbie on Victorious, created an event called iParty. He has toured all over the world. Andre's Grandma has appeared at several iParty events.
Everyone loves the crazy energy of Andre's Grandma. And I get much love as the actress Marilyn Harris, who played the character. And Percy is always by Andre's Grandma side as her handler. Don't forget, she loves to run!
Andre's Grandma has done many Cameos for various occasions. The next logical step is birthday parties and any event someone would love to have Andre's Grandma scream, spin and run. With Percy bringing her back. Yeah. Good times.
By the way, Andre's Grandma is my favorite role. Not my only role. I am blessed to be a working actress. So is my husband Percy.
We also test game shows by doing game show run thrus. Our favorite thing is performing at family functions by singing a song we created for them or doing stand up comedy. It's all acting! It's all crazy fun!
