About booking Pianists in Oakland, CA
Piano music can add a touch of elegance to any gathering! Hire a pianist to provide background music at your corporate event, wedding ceremony, restaurant, cocktail hour, or holiday party. Some pianists are vocalists as well and can sing and play all your favorite songs. These professionals can perform many styles of music across multiple musical genres including jazz, pop, classical, and more.
The cost of hiring a professional pianist in Oakland, California will vary depending on the type of event, the length of the performance, and the piano player’s skill level. Classically trained pianists with years of experience performing will often charge more than those that are just getting started playing piano for private events. Contact local solo pianists to get a quote customized for your occasion.
While browsing Oakland pianists, look at photos, watch videos, and listen to audio samples of their performances. This will help you learn more about their style and song list. Then read reviews from past clients to see if they are easy to work with and have experience at events like yours. When talking with musicians, discuss important details like arrival times, performance lengths & scheduled breaks, setup requirements, and special song requests.
