December 31, 2023Dave was awesome in every aspect. He was early, looked the part as far as his attire, was extremely communicative and professional and made it a point to gauge the tempo and vibe of the party and played selections accordingly.
I’ll definitely be hiring him again. His art elevated and enlivened my party.

November 6, 2023We have hired Dave Coldren to play piano and sing for several occasions in our home; we have also gone to a few events where he was "dueling pianos”. While the dueling piano events were quite a treat, we really, really enjoy the in-home events / parties. The first time we hired Dave was to play and sing at our First Annual Christmas Music Celebration. Dave asked us to send him a list of songs that we wanted him to play. He played and sang every song that we requested, and even one or two that were not yet in his repertoire. It was the most magical celebration; everybody sang along, and some of us even danced!! Dave was very interactive and engaged everybody all night long. He took ad-hoc requests, even if they were not Christmas songs - he can play any genre, style, and / or event type. We also hired Dave for a couple of special Birthday Celebrations in our home. He performed and had people singing everything from Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Elton John, Madonna, Frank Sinatra, and many, many more. There was nothing he couldn’t play for us. Another Christmas Music Celebration we hosted, Dave brought his wife, Anne, with him and she was a great help with our Karaoke set-up…and boy can she sing! It wouldn’t have been the same without her.
Dave also provided music at two family funerals…we met at his home; he was very sincere, considerate of our wishes, and guided us through the entire process so we would know what to expect. He made suggestions for songs, played them for us, and respected our choices, without question. Dave comforted us during a very difficult time.
We have missed not having our Christmas Music Celebrations for the last few years due to the Pandemic, but we are booked for this year and very excited.
Dave is the “real deal” he says what he is going to do, and does what he says he is going to do - he is always on time, friendly, professional, and lots of fun. We highly recommend him for your next event! Make your reservations early, as he books up quickly!!

Imagine a piano bar with a highly interactive performer - taking requests across a broad range of musical genres.
Imagine being able to request to sing a song yourself (ideally one you know well…) or ask the performer to sing.
Now imagine this at YOUR event.
I have my own equipment. But, I could also use yours, depending on the venue.
I love interacting with a crowd! I will want to get to know your guests and their musical tastes and I will encourage them to sing along and make requests.
I have done hundreds of Dueling Pianos shows and solo shows. I absolutely love taking requests and playing songs that the audience loves.
Everyone there will feel that they have been part of the show!
There are options.
If you provide the equipment, I need a piano and a sound system plus appropriate lighting (we can discuss)
If you have a piano and nothing more, I can bring a sound system for singing.
If you have a sound system but no piano, I can bring a keyboard. Additionally, for a fee I can bring a piano shell that will make it look like I am playing a real piano. I will need electricity.
If you need me to provide everything, I can bring the keyboard, piano shell, and sound system. Electricity needed.
