What to expect
Across all formats, the focus is on creating luxury, high caliber musical experiences that are engaging, memorable, and thoughtfully designed for each event.
When you hire me, you are bringing a concert pianist and curator of musical programs who specializes in creating distinctive musical experiences for private celebrations, salons, cultural gatherings, corporate retreats, and special events. Each program is carefully designed to reflect the theme, audience, and spirit of the occasion.
Programs draw from a wide range of repertoire including classical masterpieces, jazz standards, opera highlights, Broadway favorites, film themes, and international music. Performances may feature solo piano or expand to include vocalists and instrumentalists in duos, trios, quartets, or larger ensembles depending on the venue, audience, and scale of the event.
Many events feature internationally acclaimed artists who collaborate on these programs. These performers are often based in San Francisco and throughout California, while others are invited from across the United States and beyond to participate in special musical projects and curated performances.
Recital Roulette
One of the most popular formats is Recital Roulette, an interactive concert experience built around a customizable Wheel of Fortune style music wheel.
Audience members are randomly selected from a top hat to spin the wheel, determining the next musical selection. The result is an evening of surprising contrasts, virtuosic repertoire, and spontaneous audience interaction in which the musical journey unfolds in an entertaining and unpredictable way.
Different versions of Recital Roulette can be created depending on the theme of the event. Past editions have included
Piano Roulette, featuring dazzling piano repertoire ranging from beloved classics to virtuosic showpieces
Opera Roulette, featuring iconic arias and operatic highlights
Holiday Roulette, featuring festive seasonal repertoire
April in Paris, a Parisian themed musical wheel featuring French repertoire and chansons
Savor the Sound
Another signature experience is Savor the Sound, a guided wine and music tasting that pairs carefully selected wines with live musical performance.
Each wine is paired with repertoire connected to its region, culture, or history, creating an immersive experience that combines storytelling, wine tasting, and live music. These events are particularly popular for private salons, cultural gatherings, and corporate retreats.
International Music Programs
Many programs highlight international repertoire and multilingual performances celebrating musical traditions from around the world. Events may feature music in languages such as
Italian
French
Spanish
Greek
German
English
Hawaiian
Chinese
Tagalog
Korean
Japanese
Samoan
Māori
and other languages from the Asian Pacific Islander community.
These programs may reflect cultural heritage, international themes, or community celebrations. Past events have included Italian and Mediterranean themed evenings, French and Parisian concerts, Latin and Spanish language programs, and performances highlighting Asian Pacific Islander musical traditions.
Customized Celebrations
Music can also be curated for milestone celebrations and themed gatherings including birthdays, anniversaries, cultural celebrations, holiday events, and other meaningful occasions. Programs may incorporate favorite songs, cultural traditions, or a curated musical journey designed especially for the event and its guests.
Flexible Ensemble Options
Performances can be presented in a variety of formats depending on the venue and scale of the event including
Solo piano
Piano and voice
Chamber ensembles
Small vocal and instrumental groups
Larger collaborative ensembles for concert style programs
Every event is approached as a bespoke musical experience, with repertoire, artists, and presentation carefully shaped to create an unforgettable program.
