5th String Band is a local band composed of talented, seasoned musicians that play a mix of country, bluegrass, and Americana selections. These band mates have been playing together for many years with approximately 40 years musical experience between them and simply enjoy playing music together. Founding member, Susan Snyder, plays the guitar and sings lead/ harmony vocals. Terry Anderson, also a founding member, plays the mandolin and sings lead/ harmony vocals. Rob Walker plays the upright bass and sings harmony vocals. Joey Newton plays the banjo and sings lead & harmony vocals and Darryl Leshplays the dobro and sings lead & harmony vocals. This musically talented group look forward to playing an event for you soon. From Merle Haggard to the Grateful Dead, you are certain to find a selection or two that you enjoy.
