A Pleasure to Work With

We hired Reagan for our ceremony and wedding cocktail hour. He was great to work with: very responsive and well prepared. Because he played for both parts of the event there were some subtle details such as cues for switching from fully acoustic ceremony music to more lively cocktail music and Reagan proactively worked with us to develop a plan for a seamless transition. His music was a wonderful addition to our event!

Hired as: Singing Guitarist

What to expect

Reagan Leonard is all about working the crowd. Whether he is hired for background music or for gig where he is the main entertainment, Reagan is always monitoring crowd engagement and enjoyment. He often changes the order--or even content--of his setlist based on what the crowd is enjoying or singing along to. Reagan prioritizes flexibility, both in his booking and while playing a gig, and caters to whatever demographic happens to show up where he is playing.

About

Parties. Weddings. Private Events. Reliable and versatile live music for any event, months in advance or last minute!
Reagan Leonard is a local professional musician born and raised in Spartanburg, SC. He's a graduate of Clemson University (2020) who has recently relocated to Greenville where he's looking to finally start playing some gigs again now that the pandemic has subsided. He has played 200+ gigs in Greenville, Spartanburg, and Clemson over his 15-year playing career. He performs solo, playing mostly acoustic covers of pop, folk, and rock songs from the 60s-current day. If you're looking to hear anything from Jack Johnson and The Avett Brothers to Led Zeppelin, Johnny Cash, and The White Stripes or even some pop hits with a folk-rock spin on them, you might love Reagan Leonard.

Additional booking notes

One of the best things about hiring Reagan is that he comes with the full package; he has no requirements for stage or sound equipment! All he needs is an outlet (or extension cord) within 6 feet and he can take care of the rest. He has a very streamlined setup that consists of a guitar, a mic and stand, and a small but powerful speaker stack that can provide enough sound to fill a field! However, it can easily be turned down for a smaller, more intimate occasion indoors. Whatever you're looking for, Reagan Leonard can provide.
