He's performed 200+ gigs across the East Coast, is a residential artist at Gather GVL and Smileys on the Roxx (two of Greenville, SC's most popular live music venues), regularly hosts and emcees several open mic nights, and even sings in an alternative rock band. His setlist contains artists ranging from Tyler Childers, Leon Bridges, Green Day, Tom Petty, B.B. King, Steppenwolf, and more.

Specializing in a wide range of genres, including pop, rock, country, R&B, Motown, and funk, CJ Brewer is a versatile musician who can tailor his performance to suit any occasion. CJ Brewer was born in Brooklyn, raised in Virginia, and moved to the Greenville, SC area in 2018 and became a professional performer shortly after. He's well-connected in the SC Upstate music scene and is known as the pick-up musician because he's one of the most requested fill-in performers when artists get sick or need to cancel shows. Dependable, professional, kind, and versatile, CJ's variety and musical knowledge pair well with any occasion. He mainly performs as a soloist, but his experience playing in bands over the last decade has led to an expansive setlist that includes everything from Queen and Elvis to Green Day and The Black Crowes.

If you can provide power within 30 ft. of the performance space, CJ can supply the rest! His equipment is streamlined, and his setup only takes an hour. His PA system is loud enough to echo across a lake but can also be tuned to a small, intimate venue.
