Whenever Michael performs publicly he mostly performs to sold-out crowds. He has opened for Chubby Checker and the Letterman and has been featured in 14 different major public newspapers in the past 5 years. He was interviewed on channel 3 news twice and has been performing his tribute to Elvis now for almost 33 years since he was 10 and his career is stronger now then ever. He prides himself on being the best but it’s not about ego, showmanship or even money it’s all about heart and giving the Elvis fans more then they expect the only way Elvis ever performed. (Quote from Michael: Elvis believed in giving his all anything less to him was unacceptable. I want to give people an experience of a lifetime not just a show.)
Michael prides himself on putting his heart and soul into every minute of his Elvis tribute show and fans agree. Michael is special and one of a kind allot of guys just go through the motions and look at it as a paycheck but for Michael every time he steps out on that stage or performs he relives his child hood dream to entertain people and make them happy. All of his performances are very special to him and fans and even people that were close to Elvis agree when Michael performs it like Elvis never left.
(A personal quote from Michael: When I sing each note has to sound larger than life meaning it has to fill the room with passion emotion and love. My only job when I perform is to take the people away from their daily stress! You don’t know if there is someone in the audience who has cancer or has lost a loved one my only responsibility on that stage is to hopefully make them happy and bring back some memories then I have fulfilled my dream.)
In May 2006 Michael signed a record deal for having the closest vocals to Elvis by computer match. Here is exactly what was in the press release
Press Release On Michael As Elvis: As a producer of music lyrics and seeing Elvis live in Las Vegas along with over 150 want to be Elvis impersonators the deep tones and rhythm of Michael that he is the only singer that can come close to the computer match of notes and pitches of the true Elvis. Michael can stay on top of notes better than the singers here in Vegas and his stage costumes are the mirror of what Elvis would have used on stage here in Vegas. We are truly lucky to have such a dedicated entertainer as Michael .
I have myself pushed this man’s voice around and seen the results and I'm committed to producing his Elvis music on new CD's that will come out within the next few months and should be out late summer 2006. Many of you in the industry know me and know me well and if I review a singer and post them for entertainment they are among the very best for live shows and productions for films or corporate events. I would highly recommend Michael for any event when dealing with the general public and more so the fans of the King. Look for great things to happen with this singer and Shelby Music will be on top of his success in the music industry. From the production staff here at Shelby Music we wish you the best Michael. Sincerely, Shelby (Press Release, 29 May 2006)
SOME OF MICHAEL’S PAST CLIENTS INCLUDE MBNA, LOCKHEAD MARTIN, DUPONT, HILTON HOTELS CORPORATE AND THE US GOVERNMENT. Here are a few testimonials:
Michael is not just an entertainer performing Elvis music, he is truly a Tribute Artist. Michael put on a great show, he interacted with the audience, which really got them going. He had them dancing and rushing to the stage, begging for his Scarves and Teddy Bears. You would have thought they were after Elvis himself. After the show Michael did a meet and greet which fans lined up for forty five minutes, they really wanted to meet the man who did such a great job paying tribute to The King. Michael is a World Class Elvis. Dave Cannon WTDK 107.1fm "The Duck" member of the Nanticoke RiverFest Committee, Seaford, Delaware.

How long have you been an Elvis fan: I was lucky enough to see Elvis the last appearance he made at the Philadelphia Spectrum.
How did you hear about Michael: Internet inquiry
Michael just performed at the Essex Moose Lodge (Essex Maryland) on September 26th. What an awesome show! Some of the women in the audience were moved to tears. Personally, I found his engaging manner and ease with the audience to be very much like "The King's" and it thrilled the audience. I was rather shocked to see audience members flock (I should probably describe this as 'swarm')the stage when he offered scarves and teddy bears! It was like watching "The King" all over again on that long ago day in Philadelphia. Just to give you an idea of how well this event went; I didn't expect more than 90 people to come because that's usually how many come to our events, but I printed 120 tickets just in wishful thinking. Two week before the event I had to print more tickets. At the door 180 tickets were collected - but I think some people snuck in because the house was PACKED! To those looking to employ an Elvis Tribute Artist and you're looking for an "authentic" Elvis. . . then look no further! Michael is your man. He truly loves what he does and his performance is eerily reminiscent of the true Elvis Presley. My experience as event coordinator for this concert is this: Michael contacted me to bid for the job. His passion for his art convinced me to book with him. He touched base with me almost weekly from the time of booking to the day of the event. He is very professional and offered suggestions.
