Why hire The Invasion?
We are a 1960s British Invasion Band . We cover songs from groups such as the Beatles , The Rolling stones , The kinks , The Yardbirds etc..... Our stage set up and the way we dress are the same as they did in the 60s . We use Vox , Rickenbacker , Hofner , Gretsch gear to capture that vintage sound . All members are lead vocalists so our harmonies are solid . We are open to song requests for your event . We will also run music in between sets so there is no dead air . This group was fantastic to hear. They did an over the top performance. Every song they played topped the one prior. The audience, myself included, really enjoyed them. they were asked to return by the end of the 1st set. They play alot of 60's Beatles, Rolling Stones, 70's Eric Clapton...they hit every note perfectly!
Well worth the show.

The Invasion is Detroit's premium British Invasion cover band. Bob, Ron, David and Mike were drawn together from a love of the music from the other side of the pond that came to us here in the 1960s. All 4 members of the band sing tight, well crafted harmonies. They have 4 true lead vocalists. Add to that expert instrumentation on era inspired gear, the best of the music of that magical decade and you have The Invasion's formula for a good time.
This project has been a true joy for the boys who have had a shared love for this music but have never come together just for the idea of pursuing the music of the Beatles and those who followed. Add to that the fact that each of the guys has been playing professionally for years and are now having the time of their lives with this music, and I'm sure you'll have a great time too!
The band have experience playing at festivals, clubs and parties throughout the region. Each of the guys have time on the road playing in touring ensembles. Artists that The Invasion's members have played for Nathaniel Mayer, the Drifters, Jack Earls, Jack Scott, the Starlight Drifters, the Crystals, Ronnie Dove, the Reflections, Milagro, Mixed Nuts, Steve King and the Dittlies, the London Times, Frank Allison and the Odd Sox, the Lollipop Guild, the Imperial Swing Orchestra, Dick Siegel and the Brandos, Kentucky Chrome, the Fanatics and Fallout just to name a few.

Of course the Beatles are a HUGE influence in our lives . Thats the bond that drives this band back beat sound. The bands to follow such as the Rolling stones and the Yardbirds have locked that Mersey Beat sound into our heads .
What to Expect
We strive to take the audience back to the 60s when the British Invasion took us by storm . they will hear the music the way it was back then . We stay as true to the original recordings as possible . We also wear straight leg jeans . Beatle boots , skinny ties etc .... to get the look right . We also fill the stage with vintage music gear such as Rickenbacker,Gretsch , Vox , Hofner just to name a few . If you like the 60s rock and roll you will Love us .
